How to catch a queen? Positive experience!

DenisWilson (1727) vs andrzejb (1665)
1700's Tournament, http://www.gameknot.com/, 2008

1.e4 e5 2.Bc4 Nf6 3.Qe2?!

One of my favorite moves against lower ratings opponents. I would like to get unknown positions where my opponent could make some mistakes. 3...Nc6 4.c3 Bc5 5.Nf3 d6 6.O-O O-O 7.h3

I moved h3 to control g4-square. I wouldn't like the staying black knight or bishop on g4. 7...Nh5? First mistake! Black planed to move Ng3 and won my rook. The shortcoming of this move was that my queen e2 and his knight h5 were in same diagonal. And I had a small combination to take the center. 8.d4! exd4 9.cxd4 Bb6 (9...Bxd4 10.Nxd4 Nxd4 11.Qxh5 Nc2 12.Qe2 Nxa1 13.Nc3, Be3 and Rxa1) 10.a3 I would like to move b4 and develop my bishop on b2. 10...Be6?

He thought that he set good trap for me. But....11.d5! Ng3 12.Qd3 Nxf1 13.Qxf1 Bxd5 14.Bxd5 Nd4

It was found that the trap was not good. Well... What to do? I had two strong bishops. But my queenside was not developed. I didn't like 15.Bxb7 because it didn't develop my queenside. My plan was to organize attack on the kingside. And also I set a little trap. 15.Nc3 Nxf3 He was trapped!!! 16.gxf3 c6 17.Ba2 Qf6 18.Qg2

My idea was to open g-file. Kingside is attacked by two bishops and queen g2 on open g-file. It's very strong attack. Bd4 9.Bg5 Qg6 20.Rd1 c5?

Mistake! This move gave my knight very important square d5. Better 20...Bf6. 21.Nd5 I would like to fork by knight on e7. 21...Kh8? It protected from Ne7...But... 22.Nf4

Catastrophe!!! Queen was catched!
1-0
